Erase Footprints & History

My friend asked me a question. “You know when you are typing something in your browsers field and it pops up with a list of your previous entries? Like when I enter something in the searchbar, it will show my previous searches. How do i clear that?”.

Maybe there are so many of you already know about this, then just consider this as refreshment of knowledge. To be short, this is how we can do that (using Internet Explorer and Firefox; considering these two as the most used browsers). We will also show you how to clear browsing history.

Using Internet Explorer :

There are few versions of internet explorer, and you can start by looking at Tools tab –> Internet Option.

From there you will find General Tab. In general tab you can delete your browsing history. Click Delete.

Also back to the main question on how we can delete previous entires of search field. Look again at Tools tab –> Internet Option. From there you can find General Tab, Security, Privacy etc. Select Content.

Then you will see Auto Complete and click Settings. Select what list of feature you wanted to delete. Select OK. Done.

Using Mozilla Firefox:

In Firefox, the procedures also almost the same and very simple. Look at Tools tab.

You will see Clear Private Data at the drop-down menu. There is Ctrl-Shift-Del shortcut key stated for this purpose. Click it and a small window will pop-out. Select which list of features you wanted to clear. Click Clear Private Data Now. You are done.

Very easy right?  Eventually we will post this kind of tip & lesson so that more people will know. Not only to those who already know. Why not sharing knowledge? Sharing is caring.
