This is something which has to be known worldwide for those who use Google adsense for their publishing program. I guess some already know about this. Just for a small reminder only then.

There was going to be a big problem when you had create your own template or theme for your own personal use and you were going to put adsense ads on you page, while you have created rounded corner sidebars for your template interface. How can you make revenue when your sidebars which used rounded corner and your adsense use sharp corner? Although, it can fit the block, but the ads is prohibited to edit and amongst all the choice you have, you MUST use sharp adsense corner?

NOT ANYMORE. If you already figured out on your adsense account, there is an option to choose Sharp corner (default), Slightly Rounder corner and Very Rounded corner. Yes, since the features were posted on Adsense Blog, the option has just been there for publishers. This has been an ease for adsense publishers because some website theme had rounded corner block interface and now they do not have to change the padding and margin size for blocks that use rounded corner to be fit with sharp adsense corner ads.

In your adsense setup you’ll find this option while generating your ad code. Alternatively, you can also inject appropriate line into your current ad code to round it off (remove text within brackets):

• google_ui_features=”rc:10?; for very rounded corner
• google_ui_features=”rc:6?; for slightly rounded corner
• google_ui_features=”rc:0?; for square corner (default)

Since its quite new, it certainly will play great role in getting more clicks. You can try these features and blending your ads with your sidebar section which uses rounded corner. Good luck!
